Photobiomodulation is light therapy that uses LED lights to increase ATP (energy for our cells), decrease inflammation and pain, promote tissue repair, and enhance overall cellular health.  Our ATP bed is polychromatic, using a number of wavelengths, frequencies, and colors, not just Red and Near Infrared but also Green.

Red Light Therapy uses only red wavelengths, while Advanced Light Therapy uses a combination of visible (Green & Red) and non-visible light (Infrared). Advanced light therapy differs from natural sunlight in that it uses LEDs to deliver specific wavelengths of red light, green light, and infrared light rather than the full spectrum which is accompanied by UV rays.

Infrared light is delivered to the site of injury or inflammation at certain wavelengths, promoting cell repair. The key characteristic of infrared light is its ability to penetrate even the deep layers of the skin, providing better pain relief.

No. UV, or ultraviolet, light can cause damage to eyes as well as skin. Red light has been shown to be healing to cells. Red light therapy has shown great results in for skin by boosting collagen production, alleviating pain, decreasing inflammation, and overall energy production.

Green light targets hyperpigmentation, dark circles, broken capillaries and sunspots.  Green light therapy calms irritated or over-stimulated skin by reducing inflammation.  Our bed has green light therapy in the 490 to 570nm range which clinical studies have shown to be an effective adjunct in treating migraines and sleep disturbances.
Light bed sessions fit into a busy lifestyle and are 20 minutes long when used as recommended.
Consistency is the key to achieving optimal results. The more regularly you use advanced light therapy in your health journey, the better the results will be. For acute injuries and general wellness: 2 to 3 times a week, for chronic conditions 3-4 times a week with sessions lasting between 15 and 20 minutes.
No. It is not recommended if pregnant or trying to become pregnant.
You can disrobe to you comfort level, however light cannot penetrate clothing so the less the better. You do not have to remove makeup. You can wear headphones in the bed. Protective eye goggles are provided and must be worn during the session.
